Exciting Start to the School Year: WEB Leaders Welcome New 6th Graders
As summer ended, our school buzzed with excitement and preparation for the new school year. On Monday, August 19th, our WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) leaders took a big step to get ready for the arrival of our new 6th graders.
In the morning, our WEB leaders participated in a special training session hosted by the YMCA. This training was designed to equip them with the skills and confidence needed to make the transition to middle school as smooth as possible for our incoming students. After the training, the WEB leaders spent the afternoon organizing and planning a fantastic introduction for the 6th graders.
On Tuesday, around 80 eager 6th graders arrived at PCMS, excited and ready to start their middle school journey. They were welcomed by our enthusiastic WEB leaders, who were ready to guide them through their first middle school experience. The day included fun tours of the school, practice with lockers, and engaging games that helped the new students get comfortable.
Our WEB leaders did a fantastic job making sure the new 6th graders felt welcomed and prepared for their first day at PCMS. With their help, our new students are off to a great start and ready to make the most of their middle school adventure!
