Green Team's Year of Sustainable Success

Congratulations! The PCMS Green Team has again worked hard to maintain our status with the King County Green Schools Program. Ms. Potter and Ms. Honn sponsored the team, which met throughout the school year.

This year, the Green Team worked to educate the student body about e-waste, maintain the school garden, update classroom signage about water and electricity use, and create a "share table" of unopened, unused food items in the lunchroom to reduce food waste. Ms. Potter and Ms. Honn are proud of the team, many of whom will move to Issaquah High next year.

The Green Team will continue in the new school year.
