PCMS Choir Takes Road Trip, Earns Recognition

Pacific Cascade Middle School Choir performed at Stadium High School in Tacoma, WA on Saturday, June 3rd as part of the Music in the Parks Festival. They received a Superior Rating (95.5 out of 100) and terrific feedback from the adjudicators and sponsoring Music in the Parks staff.
The choir performed Salangadou and La Violette, two traditional Creole folk songs arranged by Susan Brumfield, and Shine on Me, a traditional spiritual arranged by Rollo A. Dilworth, featuring solos by 7th grader Zoe B. and 8th grader Makena K. The choir celebrated a morning of beautiful music with an afternoon of fun at Wild Waves in Federal Way.
