PCMS Orchestra Attends "Music in the Parks"

Recently, the advanced orchestra traveled to Idaho to participate in the "Music in the Parks" event. They performed two pieces selected by Terry Shade, their amazing conductor and teacher. Their performance was ranked first in the Middle School Orchestra category and an amazing first as "Overall Best Orchestra," competing against middle and high schools in their division. Ms. Shade said her students showed their true talent. Her favorite part of the trip, though, was a visit to WSU to visit the "magnificent college violin professor, Dr. Rodriquez" for a clinic session. "What a learning experience for us all!"
