PCMS Students Learn About Jobs at Career Fair

Two volunteers share their experience as welders with students.

Pacific Cascade Middle School hosted a Career Fair on April 26, welcoming more than 20 community volunteers representing diverse careers, backgrounds, and educational pathways. Leadership students welcomed guest speakers and spent some time networking with them before the presentations began.

Careers represented include a physical therapist, a state representative, a pilot, a physician assistant, an attorney, a welder, a handyman/contractor, and more.  Each volunteer shared their unique career journey with students and answered their questions.

Coordinated by School Counselor Laura Meserole, the event provided students with an introduction to real-world professions and emphasized how varied and personalized career paths are. There is a fulfilling avenue for every student to explore as they consider their futures.
